NEW CD: WE ROCK YOU RUST coming, Major shows with Sammy Hagar & The Circle, Paul Reed Smith Artist Deal with Rico Monaco, New Rico Monaco Big Band Show

July 6, 2015:  Rico Monaco Band is in pre-production and will be recording the follow up to their explosive WE ROCK YOU RUST 4 song EP.  It will be the full length version of WE ROCK YOU RUST most likely containing 12 to 14 songs.  Look for its release in Fall 2015!

June 29, 2015:  Rico Monaco signs Artist Endorsement Deal with Paul Reed Smith Guitars!  Rico has been playing his vintage 1987 Black Sunburst Paul Reed Smith Soloist Custom and 1988 Cherry Red Paul Reed Smith Bolt-On for many years as seen in photos all over the web.  But now he has made it official and was signed to the great Paul Reed Smith Guitars company in late June 2015.  We look forward to having a productive and positive relationship with the greatest guitar company to be introduced to the world in the last 50 years!  Thanks to PRS Artist Relations!

May 26, 2015:  The band has had a very busy 2015 so far!  Importantly, they hired a new incredibly talented lead vocalist named Gregory Wilkinson and added a great new bass player to the crew, Jeremy Birdsall.   The band then completed a 4 Song EP called WE ROCK YOU RUST.  They released WE ROCK YOU RUST on April 28, 2015 to RAVE REVIEWS.  The band plans to complete the full length version by fall 2015.  The CD starts with the rocking song BAM!  I See Red which immediately grabs everyone where it counts!  2nd track is a powerful remake of two WHO classics mashed up together I Can't Explain/See Me Feel Me.  3rd track is the emotional song of hope called Live For Me that many people have already said they relate to, and finally the band closes the CD with their unique version of Layla by Eric Clapton by starting with the unplugged shuffle version and then launches into the electric version which ends with a great guitar solo and honors EC!

 

BIG NEWS:  The band was chosen to open for Sammy Hagar & The Circle featuring Michael Anthony, Jason Bonham, and Vic Johnson on their 3 date Florida Tour by SAMMY HAGAR himself.  As some of you may know, the band established a relationship with The Red Rocker, Sammy back in 2002 when they WON his Cabo Wabo Tequila/Hard Rock Cafe National Battle of the Bands.  There have been many great meetings in Cabo and out on the road between Rico, Sammy, Michael Anthony and crew.  The shows at Hard Rock Live Orlando, Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater, and SunFest in West Palm Beach where INCREDIBLE as RMB received amazing response and standing ovations at all shows!  THANKS SAMMY, see you down the road.
